These are my other pottery collections. They all have some association with Blue Mountain Pottery.
Pine Pottery was started by Mike Jaroch c1972 in the building first used by Denis Tupy at CCC. Pine pottery glazes tend to be much thicker than BMP. They have been known to use the same molds as BMP but with different glaze colors. The caterpillar vase is one example of a mold that was also used at BMP.
Canadian Ceramic Craft Pottery later called Rainbow Pottery,...was started by a former Blue Mountain Pottery potterer in the 60's by Denis Tupy who was the first mold maker at the BMP factory.
This is a rare Brown Sugar glazed Pine Pottery piece...I scooped this up at a yard sale...I was on my knees for this one...he had a $5 tag on it and I talked him down to $3...hahahahha.....
West German Pottery...
Fat Lava. I couldn't resist...I saw a piece that closely resembled BMP and picked it up...now I have 80 pieces...haha
More West German Pottery...
Look familiar...these pieces were copied from these West German Pottery molds as West German Pottery was from around 1972 and the Apollo series were done in the 80's...coincidently I was on my way to meet a lady to pick up the round fat Apollo from an ebay buy and I stopped at the Value Village( it is a second hand department store...amazing) on the way and picked up the same vase in the Fat Lava,West German...haha...
More vases ,bakeware and planters.
These pieces were made by a very good friend of mine who actually worked with Domenic after he was at the Blue Mountain Pottery factory...he has more of a Greek influence in his style.
