Hello Joan, what an excellent site you have put together - i never realized that there was so many different designs and colour ranges! I am about to put a large Shire Horse on ebay as he just does not fit in with my collection of ToniRaymond Devon pottery. Also for sale will be a strange candelabra in a kind of golden yellow over brown finish.

Hi. I was at my grandmothers and noticed a pale bluish/green tall cat with a bowtie. Just curious if this was BMP. There were not markings on the bottom. If you have any info I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

I just learned today via email from Diana at BMPCC that what I thought was a BMP punch bowl is actually called a Sangria pot with cups in the Etruscan glaze! So I did a google search on that and found your site and see you also have this pot! It was nice to see it online. It's an amazing collection you have!

What a beautiful collection!
I'm actually from Collingwood, ON.
Have you been to our bmp conference?
I had a disaster yesterday. My cat knocked over and broke my favourite bmp green vase. I noticed you have similar ones in your 'vases and jugs' picture(4th shelf up on the right) under pottery for sale or trade on your site. How can I purchase a new vase from you? What is your ebay shop called?
I would love to replace it...
thank you :)

Hi Joan:
Love your site, but not every picture came in to my computer, I'm on dial-up, extremely rural.
Squirrels getting a lot of viewers, couple of watchers, so we'll see what happens. If they don't go together, may try one at a time.
What a collection you have, fabulous!

Thanks for the pic of the bottom of the water jug! I have found one that looks exactly like it but simply has MTN on bottom. Oh well, wishful thinking. Your site is great, love the pics. Peggy

Hi Joan. Thanks for sharing with all of us. Iwas wondering if you could tell us more about water Jug made for Larentein water you have displayed? Is it marked on bottom, how many were made, and what year? Or is there a resource I could find the info in? Thanks Peggy

Hi Joan
My sister and I have just started collecting and love your web site.
Today we found one of the Slate bookend horse heads and a cassarole dish in Country Charm style at the Goodwill store.
We also found 2 Canada geese with their wings up in Harvest Gold. Only the cassarole dish was positively marked, and we wondered if BMP made geese, as we did not see any in your collection. We have no idea what they are worth and we would love to see the prices of what you have for sale. We don't do any business over the internet, so do you email lists of your sale items and prices?
Thanks, we are so curious as to what the Slate pieces and Harvest Gold pieces are worth.

Hello I've been looking through your site you have a real nice collection of Blue Mountain Pottery, a very big one matter of fact. I see that you are willing to part with some of the ones you have in double, I was wondering if you have the winking cat or also known as the cat in a bowtie in harvest gold.
Thank you Denise

Hello again Joan, looked at your pics, amazing, truly! We would like to inquire on purchasing the figs, vases, bookends, and candlestick holders from your 2nd pic of 'for sale' items. Jordan and I are fascinated with them and think this would be a good place to start adding to our collection. I know this seems like a lot in one shot, but we would like more info on prices and how to contact you. We live in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. We only have about half of what is in your pic of assorted BMP's. We aquire a couple pieces a week by watching the want ads, but are interested in these to start. Our E-mail address is myshack2@sympatico.ca
We excitedly await your reply.
P.S. We live in the country, by Lake Superior. Nice, but only available internet is good ole Dial-up. Ha Ha.

Hey Joan, Mike and Jordan here from the Soo. We will be joining the BMP club promply. We have only a few pieces but admire all collections. We are always aquiring more and look forward to the annual get-together in May in Collingwood this year. Talk to you soon.
Mike and Jordan.

Hey Joanie,
Wow! I remember you telling me you had a number of pieces of Blue Mountain Pottery, but I had no idea you owned so many! All the different colours are beautiful. The Apollo series looks really cool in the photo and I bet the colour variations are even nicer to actually look at in person. A collection to be proud of for sure.

I loved your webpage, very informative. My mother had a small collection of BMP that she collected in the early 70's to the early 80's. It is nice to know that there are many people that still appreciate it.

Hi Joan
Amazing efforts you have put into providing proper care for such lovely works of art that these artist produced for BMP and other Signatures of fine pottery.
I have over 300 pieces in my collection now and also selling some. I am finding it very hard locating the BMP lamps , currently I have two. Do you have any of the Mocha Drip / Green Glaze / or Harvet Gold lamps in your possession?

Hi Joan
If the BMP Apollo range appeared in the 80s then BMP copied Scheurich (West Germany) as the Ceramos series vases you have, were introduced in 1972. From the Apollo forms i have seen Scheurich may well have sent the moulds to BMP.....
If you want to learn more about West German Pottery (WGP) and Fat lava, you could either buy my forthcoming book, or join my forum on the subject at www.potteryandglass.forumandco.com
you would be most welcome and you could teach our members about Blue Mountain.
Kind regards Kevin Graham

Joan ... Hello! I have a small business in Collingwood called Trusted Transitions. We work with clients to downsize from their homes and transitions to small residences, retirement residences, long-term care or is could be an estate.
One of my clients has some GEORGIAN CHINA made in Collingwood.
- Place setting of 8
- Cream colour with 22 carat gold pattern on each piece
QUESTIONS:
1) Is this something that Blue Mountain Pottery may have made years ago?
2) If so, is there any value to this china?
3) If so, do you have any advise on how I would find people interested in the china?
I look forward to hearing from you.
