Blue Mountain Pottery was done in a rainbow of glaze colors,not just the green that most people are familiar with. Shown here are vases and jugs in 12 different colors.I have over 30 different colors in my whole collection.
Nice examples of Slate ,harvest gold and granite glaze and other large vases and jugs.Two large Angelfish one actually has the original Woolco price tag on it..

Six different styles of the Apollo series which were a reference to the USA space program to land a man on the moon,as well as a nod to the Greek sun god who was also the god of fine arts. Introduced in 1980.
Native Artists' Collection were done in canisters ,vases ,platters and plates,and salt and pepper shakers.I have samples of eight of the nine different designs.These were done by three Native artists. This series was produced in the mid seventies to early eighties.

"Metropolis Collection" ...Made in 1984...the first largest one is done with White clay, the second one is described as "Ribbed Vase" also known as the "Michelin Man " vase. This series was done in a variety of colors like pink, light blue,med.bluish purple ,brown,white, red and black.
Examples of 6 different glazes on one type of vase, sometimes called the Squat vase . Shown here in Slate,Green,Cobalt or Granite,Harvest Gold ,Blue and the rare Chartreuse glaze.
Etruscan...they did this lovely glaze in 1980
Teapots with creamers and sugar sets,cups and saucers , various mugs, jam jar ,maple syrup jug ,oil and vinegar cruets,Christmas 1976 plate with box leaf shaped and other serving dishes.They were inspired by nature for lots of their wares.
The Chevron marks on the body of this sugar dish were done as a homage to the Natives who were the inhabitants of the Georgian Triangle area of Ontario. The Petun people were part of the Huron confederacy or association. Pieces of their pottery have been found in the areas south of Georgian Bay that was their territory. Blue Mountain Pottery made cream and sugar sets and possibly others with the hash marks to mimic the shards.
Country Charm series including baking dish in original box, soap dish in box, canisters and dishes in the "Golden Delicious" .Done in the 80's.
Two Clayworks Casserole baking dishes from the Georgain Bay Collection...introduced in 1984, Paysanne covered caserole dish in original box, two pieces of Country Charm "rose".
LaCuisine Baking dish in original box, complete escargot set in it's original box,fork and shells, bean pots, loaf, bundt and other bakeware. This series was introduced in 1980. They are white with brown specks and was also done in a peach color with brown specks.
Plates and deviled egg dish with rooster salt shaker, 2 styles of salt and pepper shakers, leaf shaped dishes, fish shaped dishes :one,two and three tier desert holders with handles,... 2 in the rare candy stripe glaze ,...and bowls.
Two different styles of the Lazy Susan, one in 2 different sizes but am missing the centerpiece in one of them...I have a gold one and would love to trade for the green one,..also shown is the three leaf clover dish.

It say's on the bottom of this rather large piece,..."Manufactured for Laurentian Water by Blue Mountain Pottery"...
Sangria Pot or Soup Tureen with cups and ladle....Covered Bowls and cannisters, ...
Wash Basins with pitchers.I have only ever seen the Country Charm set once and here it is.
Clocks and Bookends : horsehead and horses ,dolphin bookends in a white glaze,peacocks from the Bargain Hunter (Local Free ads newspaper) and two sets of the squirrels.I am missing one of the squirrel bookends.
Ashtrays were done in a wide variety of colors. Here we see mocha,slate,celedon,harvest gold,red,green and three different shades of blue. Also an Ontario Government Ashtray, Expo67 ashtrays,stacking coaster style set,basket style ashtray, and Lighters in 5 different styles and colors.
An example of how important the measurements are when buying, as these 2 ashtrays look the same in a picture but different side by side...
Blue Mountain Pottery was commissioned in the 70s to make these Briar pipe dryers ...they were known to do things like this for other companies. Below is the box that 12 of these dryers came in, which verifys that they were made by BMP.The newspaper used for the packing , is dated 1976.
All things Centennial ...they sold their wares at Expo 67...
Planters ...
Swans were in constant production at the Blue Mountain Pottery. During the 1950's,seven different variations were available as vases,planters or just decorative figurines. Also my candle holders in ten different styles and sizes.
Noah's Ark ( Likely done late 60's-71)...my one and only...there were 13 figurines that were placed in display ark...
